Family visa salary threshold should not be raised warns Home Office-ordered review
The minimum income required for family visas should not be raised to the same level needed for skilled foreign workers, a Home Office ordered review has warned. Increasing the salary threshold for people wanting to bring a loved one from abroad to the UK is likely to conflict with human rights law, the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) said on Tuesday.
